Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: 50% deposit required when reservation is made, final payment due 90 days prior to scheduled dates for fishing, lodging  or any other activities ( some activities will need to be paid in full at time of booking). Deposits will be returned if reservation is rebooked with another guest at full price ,minus a 25% cancellation fee. All no shows will be charged full price. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
 
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Pets are strictly not allowed for any reason inside or outside of any rental cabins or parking area  at Alaskan Wooden bear cabins.   
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A:   No smoking allowed  inside cabins.  
 Q:  Do ou allow fish processing at the cabins?
A: No we do not allow any fish cleaning or processing in  or around the cabins, there is a freezer for storing your  sport caught catch after it has been processed and vacuam packed at a local processor. we have a strict rule of no fish cleaning or processing here in any way to keeo Alaskan Wooden bear Cabins a bear safe area. 
Q: Are the log cabins authentic?
A:  Yes, cabins were built in 2006, 2007 and 2008, handcrafted in an authentic rustic Alaskan style decorated with log furniture, art, antiques and chainsaw carvings from  your hosts and local artist. 
Q: Are your cabins on the river?
A: No, we are centrally located in Sterling just a few minutes drive from public access fishing areas on the Kenai River.
 
Q: How far is the Russian River from your cabins?
A: The Russian River is an approximate 40 minute scenic drive along the upper Kenai River.
 
Q: Do you have freezers to store our fish?
A: Yes, we have an upright freezer. ALL FISH MUST BE CLEANED OFF-SITE AND PACKAGED PRIOR TO BRINGING THEM TO ALASKAN WOODEN BEAR CABINS FOR STORAGE.  We try to keep a clean, safe yard that will not attract bears.
 
 We hope you enjoy your stay at Alaskan Wooden Bear Cabins, and don't forget that you can win a free chainsaw carving if you can find all of the chainsaw carvings inside your cabin and in the surrounding outside area  from the boardwalk, so far I think the adults have had more fun with this game than the kids.
